We will have 4 test cases to observe, where we will assess mouth conformation and suitability, discuss the aim and expectations for the bit changes, and review the difference in the before and after.
Aimed at advanced riders, trainers, and equine professionals, it is also suitable for those competing in dressage, showing, or anyone considering making the transition to a double bridle. The course supports improved communication and performance while prioritising the horse’s comfort and wellbeing.
You’ll learn the principles of selecting and fitting a balanced combination of bradoon and Weymouth, based on your horse’s individual mouth conformation. We’ll also cover how to assess readiness through snaffle work and guide you through a smooth, confident transition to the double bridle.
